I know I'm a just a tad bit late, but I wasn't too impressed with the Grammy's this year- w0mp w0mp! However, the red carpet was quite interesting. Some of these ladies may not have taken home a Grammy, but they DEFINITELY took the NIGHT! Adorned with clutches by Judith Leiber and jewels from Lorraine Schwartz & Neil Lane... Fabulousness! You be the judge!

Designers Haute for Haiti

My heart & prayers continue to go out to the people &families of Haiti whom were affected by the recent earthquake. It kills me to see people who already have little to get so0o much more taken away from them. With the devastating disaster of the earthquakes that hit them hard, the fashion industry has not turned their back on Haiti. Fashion designer & president of the CFDA (The Council of Fashion Designers of America) Diane von Furstenberg is collaborating with the Clinton Bush Haiti Fund. The CFDA is set to launch a "Fashion for Haiti" T shirt. On February 12th, the t shirts will hit stores and cfda.com website. The t shirts will be produced through Theory and will be available for men & women at $25.

Supermodel Naomi Campbell teams up with Sarah Brown, American actress and wife of the British prime minister Gordon Brown to do a catwalk called "Fashion For Relief". Annually Naomi has a charitable fashion show and this year, the proceeds go to Haiti and it will take place on February 18th. The fashion show will feature big name models and celebrities wearing designers like: Vivienne Westwood, Jean Paul Gaultier, Dolce & Gabbana, Alexander McQueen, and many others.

More contributions....

- World reknown VS model, Gisele Bundchen wrote a check for 1.5 million dollars to the Red Cross to aid for the relief in Haiti.

- On behalf of Louis Vuitton and all company employees, the luxury brand made a donation of $100,000 to assist the Haitian Red Cross with disposable medical kits, water purifiers, tents, food, and water.

- Ralph Lauren is donating clothing corporately through "Fashion Delivers".

- Calvin Klein is matching its parent company Phillips-Van Heusen 100% to various organizations and gathering clothing from the company. Customers can also make donations at the stores.

- Judith Leiber is auctioning off handbags that she specifically designed for actresses at the Golden Globes.

- MAC Cosmetics/The MAC AIDS Fund, the philanthropic arm of MAC Cosmetics, regularly supports HIV/AIDS-related organizations throughout the world, including 3 such organizations in Haiti. After hearing the news of the earthquake, MAF mobilized its grantmaking arm and gave emergency general support grants of $125,000 each to MAF's 3 trusted partners in Haiti: the Clinton Foundation, Partners in Health, and GHEISKO - all working to deliver emergency medical care, food and supplies.

Gucci Gets Around..

Gucci is pop'n up & peek'n out with the peek-a-boo dresses. J. Lo is ALSO rock'n a nice Gucci dress on the February issue of Elle. It's also pricey, around $4,000 but who doesn't love an LBD that'll never go out of style nor collect dust...

More of the photo shoot.....

Money To Blow...

Giuseppe does it again with these Swarovski crystal metallic gold heels. At $995... Perfect way of tell'n someone to STEP their game up LOL!

Top 10 Colors for Spring 2010

It took some doing, but I finally got the "IT" colors for this Spring! Personally, I am loving them ALL, especially the Dried Herb and Eucalyptus- surprisingly since I love bright tones. Actually, a few of the hues in this palette I already have in my wardrobe, some more than others. This is a good thing tho ladies, check your closets before you go out SPLURG'N! You can always mix & match and add on to key pieces that you already own. Maybe throw in a few new accessories {bangles, scarves, belts, etc.} and buy some FLYY heels and you'll be straight when the weather decides to get its' act together lol! Have fun!!

Hold up baby.....

Bib necklaces.... Not intended for a mess, more like a MESSAGE! These necklaces allow you to make a BOLD statement without even say'n a single word. You can get them in various shapes, lengths, colors, & sizes. They liven up the simplest ensemble and sure to be a niice conversation piece. So forget exaggerated earrings because this neck candy is definitely a key item to go Goo-goo-ga-ga for!

Thandie Newton's effortless look courtesy of her $231,300 Solange Azagury-Partridge necklace. Pricey, I know! You can find them at Tar'get, Kohls, JCPenny, & other stores in your local mall under $50. But here's a look at a few bibs I drooled over haha!

Once in a Blue....

The sky isn't the limit with one of the hottest colors of the season! Take your wardrobe to another level with a hint or even a SPLASH of blue.

Get the look, cheap & chic!.....

Big things in Small packages?!

Who says you can't put big things in small packages? Well maybe you still can't but smaller is more trendy this season. No more lugging around that saggy hobo or HUGE satchel, those are literally "throw it in the bag" purses. These small & sleek purses are designed to tote the essentials: lipstick, credit cards, iPhone or Berry, & perhaps just a lil' room for more!

Where Them Bloggers At, Where Them Bloggers At?!....

**throws hands in the air** Lol! Miss Rihanna has graced the cover of W Magazine {February 2010 issue} in a STUNNING Gucci number.. I likes! Plus it has the peek-a-boo effect too! Not only is the cover fab, her other pics are as well. To some they may seem racy & raw, to me they're no where near "Rated R". They're edgy & tasteful...the same Rihanna. There's ALWAYS gonna be some talk about her- I guess that Rihanna reign just won't let up...

Right on the BULLSEYE!!

So0o0oo one of my favorite designers, Jean Paul Gaultier is doing a collabo w/ Tar'get {French accent}!!!! One of my chic hot spots;-) The line is expected to drop in atleast 250 Target stores and Target.com March 7th, I feel like I just had 15 pixie stix!! The collection is designed to reflect the styles of American women of the past & present of American pop culture. I can see it now!! Actually so can you, check out some pics from the lookbook...

Peek-A-Boo, I see.......

Skin, skin, & more skin!! Peek-A-Boo is one of the most rapid and fashionable trends for this season. A pair of cut up leggings and shoulder baring tops may have gotten by in 09... but designers like Rodarte & Alexander Wang take the game to a different level with their RTW collection. I would say skin is IN this Spring but it's actually OUT- Literally!

Michael Kors

Jill Stuart

Alexander Wang

Rodarte.... LOV'N the shoes!!
